Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute complex projects within our Advanced Facilities Group. You will supervise material, equipment and people, ensure documentation, and drive on-time, profitable project completion in alignment with JE Dunns strategy and values.

You will lead safety culture, coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams, and manage project schedules and costs while ensuring QA/QC standards and successful project closeouts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor7s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (Preferred).
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles (Preferred).
• Valid and unrestricted drivera0license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company0s safety culture and mentors others to ensure an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and the overall job workflow.
• Manages project staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO) for a project portion.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standup and weekly trade meetings and participates in progress meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Tracks project budget and costs using cost reports.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and stakeholders.
• Supports project closeouts and coordination with owner, architect and authorities.
