Job summary

Build Partners USA LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a remote opportunity tied to our Dallas-Fort Worth client base. You will lead ground-up retail, restaurant, office, medical and other commercial projects valued from $1M-$20M, with ground-up experience essential and tenant-improvement experience a plus.

You’ll manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and coordination with field teams, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability while working remotely with occasional site visits

Qualifications

• Three+ years’ project-management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Proven experience delivering ground-up commercial projects valued from $1M-$20M.
• Retail, restaurant, office, medical or similar commercial construction experience.
• Tenant-improvement, renovation or occupied-space experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong understanding of estimating, buyout, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, contract administration and project closeout.
• Experience managing subcontractors, procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation.
• Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office, with Bluebeam and scheduling-software experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently from home while maintaining communication, accountability and oversight across multiple projects.
• Based within commuting distance of Dallas-Fort Worth and available for project-site visits and in-person meetings when required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of project budgets, cost reports, forecasting, billing, cash flow, contingency and overall profitability.
• Manage subcontractor bidding, scope reviews, buyout, contract negotiations, procurement and material lead times.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, procurement schedules, milestone plans and recovery strategies.
• Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations, subcontractors, materials, inspections and site logistics.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, owner changes, drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Lead owner, architect, engineer, subcontractor and internal project meetings, both remotely and in person when required.
• Monitor project risks, quality, safety, schedule and financial performance, taking early action when issues arise.
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining consistent standards across project delivery, reporting and client service.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and project teams while working independently in a remote environment.

They’re looking for a Project Manager to lead ground-up retail, restaurant, office, medical and wider commercial projects valued from $1M-$20M. This is a remote-based position offering the flexibility to work from home while remaining connected to active projects, clients and site teams across DFW. You’ll be joining a collaborative contractor known for its hands-on approach, quality of work and long-standing client relationships.
