Job summary

Green Key Resources is staffing a hands-on Project Manager for a growing national real estate and construction organization expanding in the Dallas–Fort Worth market. The role emphasizes active project involvement, technical strength, autonomy, and leadership potential as the Texas operation grows.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in commercial construction PM, experience with GC/CM structures, and a background in engineering or similar technical fields.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Experience managing projects as a Project Manager for a general contractor, construction manager, or similar organization.
• Engineering background is a significant plus.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and construction execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction and planning through construction and closeout.
• Maintain ownership of project schedules, budgets, contracts, procurement, documentation, and overall execution.
• Coordinate closely with internal design, architecture, development, and construction resources.
• Work directly with owners, clients, design partners, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Identify project risks early and proactively develop solutions.
• Drive accountability across project teams while maintaining strong working relationships.
• Participate in design and constructability discussions to help improve project outcomes.
• Support operational planning as the organization's DFW project portfolio and local team continue to grow.
• Maintain a hands-on approach to project management in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $120,000–$160,000 base + 20–25% target bonus + profit sharing

We are partnering with an established national real estate and construction organization that is expanding its presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. The team is seeking a Project Manager to help execute projects locally while playing an important role in the long-term growth of its Texas operations.

This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who wants to remain hands-on in the work rather than move into a purely oversight-focused position. The ideal candidate is process-driven, technically strong, professional, and comfortable operating with a high level of autonomy.

As the DFW operation continues to grow, this position also offers significant long-term leadership potential. The organization is building its local team rather than relocating an established construction leadership structure into the market, creating an opportunity for an early hire to grow alongside the business.
