Job description

About The Role

The role drives execution of technical projects across engineering, product, and infrastructure teams — owning planning, coordination, and delivery of software releases, platform migrations, and cross-team initiatives from kickoff to launch. This is a high-visibility position at a well-funded technology company: project managers translate roadmap goals into executed work, keep dependencies unblocked, and give leadership a clear, honest view of progress and risk.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery of technical projects, building and maintaining schedules, milestones, and RAID logs in tools like Jira, Asana, or Linear

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data, QA) to define scope, sequence dependencies, and hit committed ship dates

  • Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews; remove blockers and escape trade-offs early

  • Track and report project health — scope, timeline, budget, and risk — through dashboards and weekly stakeholder updates

  • Manage launch and migration playbooks, coordinating rollouts, cutovers, and go/no-go decisions across environments

  • Partner with engineering leads on capacity planning, estimation, and prioritization across concurrent workstreams

  • Document processes, retrospectives, and post-mortems to continuously improve how the team ships

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-6 years of project or program management experience in software or technology environments

  • Hands‑on fluency with agile ceremonies, Jira/Asana/Linear, and technical delivery workflows (CI/CD, release management, cloud migrations)

  • Ability to converse credibly with engineers about architecture, dependencies, and technical risk

  • Strong written communication: crisp status updates, executive summaries, and decision documents

  • Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-team projects on schedule

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience

  • Bonus: PMP, CSM, or SAFe certification; experience at a venture‑backed startup or scale‑up; SQL or dashboarding skills
