Role Description The Project Estimator is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. This position is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including ground-up builds, tenant improvements, and specialized interior work. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing plans and specifications, performing quantity takeoffs, soliciting and analyzing subcontractor and vendor bids, and developing accurate budgets and proposals. The Project Estimator collaborates closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients to clarify scope, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support pre-construction planning. This role also involves maintaining historical cost data, updating estimating tools, and contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes.
