Job summary

GreenBridge is seeking a Project Estimator to join our Austin team on-site. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial projects, from ground-up builds to tenant improvements, ensuring accuracy and competitive budgeting.

You will collaborate with project managers, subs, and clients to refine scope, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain historical cost data to improve estimating processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
• Experience with ground-up and tenant improvement projects; healthcare, hospitality, or corporate interiors experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with estimating software, Excel, and construction drawings/specifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to develop accurate quantity takeoffs.
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor bids.
• Develop competitive budgets and proposals for commercial projects.
• Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and clients to clarify scope and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain historical cost data and update estimating tools/processes.
• Support pre-construction planning from concept through GMP.

About the Role

We're conducting a confidential search for a Project Estimator to join our client's Austin, TX team on a full-time, on-site basis. This role is responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates across commercial construction projects — from ground-up builds to tenant improvements and specialized interior work — and plays a key part in pre-construction planning and continuous improvement of estimating processes.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to develop accurate quantity takeoffs
• Solicit, analyze, and level subcontractor and vendor bids
• Develop competitive budgets and proposals for commercial projects

Compensation: Up to $110,000, commensurate with experience
