Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Titusville, FL is seeking an experienced engineering professional to coordinate planning, organization, and execution of complex projects across the engineering function.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience, with strong systems engineering knowledge and proven ability to manage design changes, schedules, and cross-functional collaboration with executive leadership. Security clearances and missile defense context are relevant considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
• Project management: experience with efficient management of project logistics.
• Experience with process design, development and improvement methodologies.
• Experience interfacing with all levels of employees, to include executive leadership
• Understanding of Systems Engineering execution through large scale development contracts

Desired Skills

• Prior experience on FBM or other military missile defense contracts
• Active Secret clearance or higher
• Direct experience on development contract proposals for military systems
• Experience with Navy / missile defense contracting requirements
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $145100.00 - $269500.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
