Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Littleton, CO, seeks an experienced manufacturing program manager to drive throughput and ramp-to-rate for hypersonic missile production. You will coordinate planning, scheduling, and cost alignment across engineering and manufacturing to meet tight cost and schedule commitments.

In this role you will interface with demand management, program planning, and contracts, delivering regular program updates to leadership and customers while ensuring design/test requirements

Qualifications

  • Experience on a production program, either on the floor or from a program support perspective or comparable combined experience.
  • Manufacturing leadership experience in previous lead roles, supervision, make planning, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or similar.
  • Program/Project Management and/or CAM experience or similar.
  • Experience in low-rate and/or high-rate manufacturing or comparable combined experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee throughput initiatives to support demand and ramp to rate from an operations perspective.
  • Coordinate planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects; review design for compliance and release changes.
  • Ensure centers have resources needed from the program to meet cost and schedule commitments.
  • Provide daily/weekly program status briefs to customer and on-floor manufacturing progress.
  • Interface with demand management, planning, program finance, and manufacturing leaders to align build requirements.

  • Oversee our Hypersonic missile production's throughput initiatives to support our anticipated TSWS demand signal, and support ramp to rate from an operations perspective
  • Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems
  • Ensure the manufacturing centers have the resources needed from the program to be successful in meeting both cost and schedule commitments
  • Daily and weekly, provide program status briefs to customer and program of manufacturing progress on the floor
  • Interface directly with demand management, program planning, program finance, manufacturing planning manager, and manufacturing finance to ensure the program and manufacturing are in alignment on build requirements from a cost and schedule perspective

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience on a production program, either on the floor or from a program support perspective or comparable combined experience
  • Manufacturing Experience in previous lead roles, supervision, make planning, manufacturing engineering, quality engineering or similar experience
  • Program/Project Management and/or Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience or similar experience
  • Experience in low-rate and/or high-rate manufacturing or comparable combined experience
Desired Skills
  • Technical experience related to missile, launch vehicle, and/or space vehicle development
  • Experience pitching status to senior management and/or customers
  • Cross functional coordination in project management
  • Project Management from inception to completion of a highly complex manufacturing process
  • Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice
  • Preferred experience in related SMD programs
  • Able to interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Procurement, Quality, Administrative, and Management Personnel
  • Ability to articulate complex technical and programmatic issues to peers, management, and customers
Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
