Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer within the C2BMC team to drive MBSE-driven development for the Missile Defense System. You will translate stakeholder needs into technical concepts, lead interface development, and support formal engineering reviews.
You will collaborate with customers and internal teams in an agile environment, ensuring schedules, estimates, and design integrity are maintained while advancing critical defense capabilities.

Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.

This position will perform some or all of the following duties, concentrating on early-phase (concept, requirements, and design) activities of the Systems-Engineering Development Lifecycle:
As leaders of the C2BMC team, Lockheed Martin partners with industry leaders to develop and field the backbone of America's missile defense. Our national team supports the design, development, testing, integration and fielding of hardware and software elements essential for the effective operation of the Missile Defense System (MDS). You will have opportunities to interface directly with key customers, including the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in system engineering and a passion for missile defense technologies. You thrive in collaborative environments and are adept at working under technical direction to implement innovative solutions.
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
