Lockheed Martin Space is hiring a Project Engineer (IC2) to support Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) projects for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The Project Engineer will lead an IPT across multiple contracts, handling schedule, cost, risks and performance, and will prepare BOEs, schedules and cost plans.
The position involves coordinating planning, evaluation of design changes, and ensuring compliance with contract requirements while engaging with senior leadership and customers.

This requisition is for a Project Engineer (IC2) to support Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) projects for the Fleet Ballistic Missile Program. The Project Engineer will be an IPT lead over several projects, spanning across multiple contracts. As an IPT lead, the Project Engineer will be responsible for leading all aspects of the project, including schedule, cost, risks, opportunities, and general performance of the effort. The Project Engineer will be generating BOEs (Basis of Estimates / Proposals), Schedules, and Cost Plans for the scope they are responsible for. This specific role will be managing projects for the LE / LE2 program.
Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.
Full-Time Salary Range: $70500.00 - $130900.00
