Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to bridge program requirements and construction execution at our Pueblo, CO site. You will translate requirements into SOWs, craft building plans, and drive schedules from conception to completion within manufacturing facilities readiness.

You’ll work with Manufacturing Engineering leadership on facility investments and advanced manufacturing initiatives while ensuring compliance with DoD/ITAR requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of construction project engineering experience or 7 years in lieu of a degree.
  • Translating requirements into SOWs, scopes of work, or building plans in construction/industrial settings.
  • Build and manage project schedules, track deliverables, and drive accountability with subcontractors.
  • Experience tracking equipment procurement, delivery, and installation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication to convey requirements to contractors and leadership.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Translate program and project requirements into SOWs, defining deliverables and timelines.
  • Develop building plans aligning facility infrastructure with manufacturing needs.
  • Drive project schedules, identify critical path, manage milestones, and mitigate risks.
  • Track equipment procurement, delivery, and installation; maintain logs.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and field crews to meet scope and quality.
  • Maintain project documentation: submittals, RFIs, minutes, change orders, reports.
  • Support procurement and contract administration; review bids and scopes.
  • Attend site walks and meetings; act as a point of contact for status and clarifications.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to inform future facility investments.
