Job summary

Voyager Technologies in Pueblo, CO is hiring a Manager, Infrastructure Engineering to lead the Mission Infrastructure Engineering group and oversee capital projects for manufacturing and test operations. You will stay hands-on while building processes, standards, and a scalable team structure to support rapid growth.

The role requires a strong engineering background, 3+ years of leadership, and proven ability to drive projects from design through commissioning in a regulated, industrial setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related field with 7+ years of facilities/construction PM experience.
  • 15 years of hands-on facilities and infrastructure engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Led end-to-end capital projects in industrial, defense, or manufacturing settings.
  • 3+ years leading engineering teams and building team structures.
  • Established processes and standards in ambiguous environments, including project controls and SOW docs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a 5–8 engineer team across facility design, construction project engineering, commissioning, and industrial engineering.
  • Act as the technical anchor for MIE with hands-on project involvement across the full infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Own the MIE project portfolio and drive delivery against schedule, budget, and scope while implementing controls and documentation standards.
  • Translate DoD and program requirements into infrastructure strategies with cross-functional partners.
  • Develop frameworks for SOWs, controls, commissioning, and design review processes to enable repeatable delivery.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors, including bid evaluation and performance oversight across multiple projects.
  • Prepare capital proposals, budgets, status updates, and reviews for Manufacturing Engineering leadership.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor MIE engineers to build depth and leadership.
