Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Mission Infrastructure Engineering in Pueblo, CO.

You will lead a 5–8 person team responsible for facility design, construction project engineering, commissioning, and industrial engineering, while actively engaging on capital projects from start to finish. You will translate DoD requirements into infrastructure strategies, build processes and standards, and manage external contractors to meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.

Qualifications

  • 7 years of facilities engineering, construction project management, or related field, or 15 years of hands‑on facilities/infrastructure engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience delivering end-to-end capital projects in industrial/defense/manufacturing environments.
  • 3+ years leading and developing engineering teams, building structure and accountability.
  • Ability to establish processes and standards where none existed, including SOW development and documentation frameworks.
  • Experience managing external contractors and vendors across concurrent projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for executive presentations and program reviews.
  • Commitment to safety culture and operating within OSHA/ITAR/hazardous materials standards.
  • Ability to lead from the front in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a 5–8 engineer team across facility design, construction engineering, commissioning, and industrial engineering.
  • Be the technical anchor for MIE with hands-on engagement on capital projects and guidance across the infrastructure lifecycle.
  • Own the MIE project portfolio, driving delivery against schedule, budget, and scope while establishing program controls and standards.
  • Translate DoD and program requirements into facility infrastructure strategies with cross-functional partners.
  • Define processes, standards, and tools that enable scalable, repeatable infrastructure delivery.
  • Manage external contractors and vendors, evaluating bids and ensuring performance against commitments.
  • Prepare capital project proposals and status reports for leadership with clear risk and decision messaging.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop MIE talent, building a capable, high-performing team.
