Sundt is seeking a Project Engineer II in Arizona. This role is the technical focal point for project documents and interfaces with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

The positionmay advance through steps I, II, and Senior, with Step II targeted at professionals with 3 years of experience or on larger projects. Candidates should possess a four-year construction-related degree (or equivalent) with 3–4 years of experience, and excellent communication and leadership

Qualificações

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology and related codes.
• Four-year construction-related degree or equivalent, plus 3–4 years of experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to supervise Field Engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates understanding of the project management plan and change management process.
• Develops a procurement schedule and integrates with the project CPM schedule; coordinates submittals.
• Understands prime contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders; manages budgeting and cost controls.
• Maintains "As-built" contract documents; compiles close-out requirements (O&M manuals, warranties).
• Participates in takeoffs for concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utilities as required.
• Plans, develops and supervises project team members to ensure relentless execution.
• Prepares and maintains quantity reporting mechanisms; records meeting minutes and project logs.
• Prepares and reviews change orders and maintains change order log; communicates with stakeholders.
• Prevents and mitigates potential claims and resolves existing ones promptly.
