Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Field Engineer II for heavy civil/mining infrastructure in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports the Project Engineer with technical drawings, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes while assisting in budget forecasting.

It provides a pathway from Step I to II on larger projects and requires travel readiness. An ideal candidate has a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience, is willing to travel, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Needs a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent field experience.
• Strong ability to communicate and interface with team members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Engineer with drawings, submittals, change orders, RFl's, and meeting minutes.
• Support budget forecasting and cost control tasks.
• Help ensure safety and quality management on the project site.
• Oversee BIM coordination between Subcontractors and Designers.
• Contribute to LEED documentation and ORD updates.
