Job summary

Sundt Construction is seeking a Project Engineer II for on-site work in Phoenix, AZ. You will serve as the technical information source on project documents, coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and help supervise Field Engineers.

The role progresses from initial to senior levels, with three steps and expansion of responsibilities as experience grows on larger, more complex projects. Strong communication and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards.
• Minimum of a four-year construction-related degree or equivalent training with 3–4 years of similar experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Understand the project management plan and change management processes to support execution.
• Develop procurement schedules and coordinate submittals with trades and contract documents.
• Assist with budgeting, cost control, and maintaining As-built documents and logs.
• Prepare and review change orders and maintain the change order log.
