Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support on-site construction activities and field execution. The role involves applying construction fundamentals, coordinating with the project team, and assisting with safety, quality plans, and documentation.

Responsibilities include monitoring crew size, self-perform hours, materials, and equipment; participating in punch lists, meetings, and reporting; and developing an understanding of Lean practices and project productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate as needed.
• Willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Supports construction and field execution on projects using company standards.
• Assists with safety and QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Maintains project records: daily reports, manpower, and schedules.
• Monitors on-site activities, materials, quantities and equipment.
• Participates in punch list creation and documentation.
• Prepares documentation for meetings and project close-out.
