Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Project Engineer 1 role supports construction and field execution on our projects, applying fundamentals, safety standards, and company best practices. You will assist with punch lists, self-perform work, scheduling, and coordination with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors to keep the build on track.

This entry-level position emphasizes teamwork, QA/QC, and learning through on-site collaboration, daily reports, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Entry-level construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Assists with punch lists, self-perform work, and project documentation.
• Supports on-site coordination with foremen, journeymen, and subcontractors.
• Learns and participates in estimating and change management processes and tools.
