Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer I to support construction and field execution of projects, using company standards, processes and tools. You will engage in general construction management, punch lists and self-perform work to understand building processes and how JE Dunn executes projects, aligning with our strategy and values.

On-site roles include coordinating crews, tracking materials, and generating progress reports, while contributing to safety, quality reviews and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel may be required.
• Non-traditional hours may be needed to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participate in QA/QC planning for quality on tasks.
• Assist with estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Work on site with project team to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, quantity and equipment.
• Prepare and disseminate project documentation and attend meetings.
• Maintain drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports and support scheduling activities.
• Support project closeout documentation including punch lists and manuals.
