Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction tasks and field execution on our projects. You will participate in safety and quality plans, monitor crew activity, and help manage documentation and schedules on site.

The role requires 2+ years of construction experience, a relevant degree or equivalent, and strong collaboration with the project team to deliver on-time, quality outcomes.

Qualifications

Ability to perform work accurately and completely
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
Proficiency in MS Office and CMiC-enabled tasks
Knowledge of Lean process and construction technology

Responsibilities

Participates in safety and quality plans to maintain an injury-free environment
Supports QA/QC planning to ensure task quality
Assists with estimating, schedules, and change management processes
Works on site with project team to monitor crew, materials, and equipment
Prepares documentation and participates in project meetings
Tracks shop drawings and procurement logs; supports scheduling
Provides progress updates to support project timelines
Supports project closeout and as-built documentation
