Job summary

JE Dunn Construction in the United States is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on active projects. You will apply construction fundamentals, company standards, and Lean practices to help manage scope, schedule, safety, and quality on site.

You will work with foremen, subs, and project teams to monitor manpower, materials, and progress, prepare daily and weekly reports, participate in punch lists, and assist with procurement logs and closeout documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy.
• Ability to perform work accurately and on time.
• Understanding of construction technology and means/methods.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plan execution and culture.
• Supports QA/QC planning for assigned tasks.
• Assists in estimating and change management processes.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, hours, materials, and equipment.
• Participates in punch lists and inspections and prepares documentation.
• Disseminates drawings and specifications with latest information.
• Prepares and distributes project meeting materials and reports.
• Creates and maintains procurement logs and tracks shop drawings.
• Provides progress updates to support scheduling.
• Assists in project closeout such as punch lists and as-built drawings.
