Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten Inc, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer for our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office. The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in organizing, scheduling, and recording construction activities on large, high-profile projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 1 year of field experience, with strong Excel and Procore skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or related field is required; minimum one year of field experience.
• Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Procore or similar construction software experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading is required.
• Familiarity with scheduling/estimating software; Primavera P6 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and transcribe detailed meeting minutes clearly and accurately.
• Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with subcontractors for deliveries.
• Review designs and drawings for installation qualifications and compliance.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract document compliance.
• Coordinate all submittals between subcontractors and teams.
• Prepare field design changes and as-built drawings as required.
• Generate reports and maintain documentation using Procore.
