Job summary

Rudolph and Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Field Engineer to join our Los Angeles or Irvine, CA office. The role focuses on field operations, QA/QC, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure project accuracy and on-time delivery.

The candidate will interpret designs, manage daily reports, and support project managers with field surveys, RFI processing, and as-built documentation on major California projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management or four years’ experience in construction management.
• Minimum five years of field experience on large commercial projects.
• Ability to communicate with multiple levels of personnel and manage multiple demands simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field operations and ensure plans and specs are followed with QA/QC.
• Review submittals, shop drawings and RFIs to support project progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet schedule and safety goals.
• Prepare field design changes and as-built drawings as required.
• Document daily activities, quantities, and safety observations for the project manager.
