Job summary

ARM Group is seeking a Project Engineer to help manage planning, design, permitting, and oversight of multi-disciplinary projects including non-coal mining and quarry-related work, along with stormwater management and erosion control.

The role emphasizes ownership mentality, collaboration, and meeting schedules with budgets, relying on civil/environmental engineering best practices and strong communication with regulators and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• E.I.T. certification required; P.E. license preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience including post construction stormwater management and E&S design/permitting.
• Experience with design calculations, permit coordinating, and construction admin.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and communicate with regulators and clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Coordinate design and permitting of multiple projects.
• Assess and mitigate project risks.
• Perform technical calculations and develop solutions for permitting and construction challenges.
• Provide on-site support with regulators and clients; ensure project compliance.
• Observe field work and document findings for problem solving.
• Collaborate with team to meet deliverables and share knowledge.
• Present information effectively to managers, clients, and stakeholders.
