Job summary

ARM Group seeks a Project Engineer to assist with planning, design, permitting and construction oversight of multi-disciplinary projects, including non-coal mining and quarry work, post-construction stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control planning.

The role requires an ownership mindset and collaboration to meet project goals, schedules and budgets, with on-site support interfacing with regulators and clients, and hands-on engineering calculations and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor0s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• EIT certificate required; PE license preferred.
• 5+ years of engineering experience including stormwater design and permitting.
• Ability to manage tasks independently.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update design drawings and investigation reports.
• Coordinate development, design and permitting of multiple projects.
• Assess and mitigate project risks.
• Perform technical calculations and check results.
• Develop solutions for permitting, design and construction challenges.
• Provide technical support for projects.
• Research regulations, codes, and zoning requirements.
• Prepare reports, permit applications, and correspondence.
• Monitor field work and document findings.
• Collaborate with team to meet deliverables and share knowledge.
• Communicate with clients, project managers, and CAD designers.
