Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction and field execution across projects. The role emphasizes on-site management, safety adherence, QA/QC, and collaboration with the project team to ensure scheduling, material tracking, and documentation are up to date.

The successful candidate will participate in estimating, change management, and self-perform work while learning JE Dunn’s best practices and Lean principles to contribute to project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and QA/QC planning to ensure quality for assigned tasks.
• Support estimates, schedules, work plans, daily logs and project administration in CMiC.
• Pre-plans crew activities and updates to project superintendent.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal project support functions.
• Prepare documentation and reports to support scheduling and progress tracking.
• Assist with development and maintenance of project crew schedules.
