Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction and field execution on building projects. You will participate in safety, QA/QC, estimating, scheduling, and self-perform work to understand building processes and JE Dunn practices.

Required: 2+ years of construction experience and a Bachelor’s degree in CM/Engineering or related field. Base compensation ranges from $77,000 to $115,000 with potential bonus, and a diverse, equal-opportunity workplace.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner.
• Excellent communication, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic software.
• Know-how of Lean processes and construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Learns and actively participates in safety and quality plans and culture.
• Participates in QA/QC planning for quality.
• Assists estimating and change management, review of subcontractor proposals.
• Works on site to support tasks like monitoring crew size, hours and materials.
• Prepares documentation and attends project meetings.
• Tracks shop drawings and procurement logs.
• Supports scheduling and progress reporting.
• Assists with project closeout documentation and handover.
