Job summary

JE Dunn is seeking a Project Engineer 2 to support routine construction and field execution on projects in an on-site role. You will participate in safety, QA/QC, and self-perform work to understand building processes and JE Dunn execution standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field and have at least 2 years of construction experience, with strong MS Office skills and a willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 2+ years construction experience.
• Knowledge of Lean process and philosophy.
• Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementing project safety plans and ensures a culture of compliance.
• Supports the preparation of estimates, schedules, work plans, daily logs, etc.
• Pre-plans crew activities and updates to project superintendent.
• Supports and/or completes job set-up and project administration in CMiC and other company technologies.
• Participates with project team in managing subcontractor(s) scope of work.
• Coordinates with internal project support functions as directed by project team.
• Controls costs by evaluating and improving processes of assigned tasks.
• Provides analysis for MOC Materials and Other Costs and equipment on project site.
