Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on assigned projects. You will engage in general construction management, punch lists, and self-perform work under the guidance of project leadership to understand building processes and JE Dunn practices.

You will participate in safety, QA/QC, estimating, and change management while coordinating with foremen, subcontractors and the project team to deliver on schedule and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• Entry level construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in safety and quality plans on site and mentors others.
• Participates in QA/QC planning to ensure task quality.
• Learns estimating and change management processes and tools.
• Works on site with project team to monitor crew size, materials, and scheduling.
• Participates in punch list, inspections and safety reviews with documentation.
• Prepares and disseminates project documentation and reports.
