Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Engineer 1 to support construction and field execution on active projects. You will participate in safety, quality plans and standard processes while learning the building process under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with estimating, change management, progress reporting and coordination with trades on-site. The role emphasizes collaboration with project teams, adherence to lean practices, and development toward the Project Engineer 2

Qualifications

• MS Office proficiency required.
• Knowledge of Lean processes.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of construction methods and practices.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety and quality planning on projects.
• Assist with QA/QC planning for tasks.
• Assist estimating and change management with take-offs and subcontractor proposals.
• Support project on-site with monitoring crew size, hours, materials and equipment.
• Prepare documentation and reports (daily/weekly) to support scheduling and progress.
