Job summary

Everforth Apex Systems in St. Charles, MO, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead advanced aerospace and defense programs through the full product lifecycle, owning cost, schedule, risk, and overall program performance.

You will drive engineering execution, coordinate with manufacturing, quality, test, supply chain, and program management, and guide proposal development and risk management. Strong leadership and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years engineering experience.
• Experience leading engineering projects, programs, or multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated responsibility for project cost and schedule management.
• Background in product development, design, manufacturing, integration, or production engineering.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to support advanced aerospace and defense programs. This role will provide technical and project leadership throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring successful execution of engineering efforts while maintaining ownership of cost, schedule, risk, and overall program performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects from development through production and sustainment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting aerospace, defense, weapons, missile, avionics, or military programs.
• Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, Manufacturing, or related engineering background.
• Experience managing large, complex engineering efforts.
• CAM, EVM, or similar program controls experience.
• Experience working with Department of Defense customers.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred but not required.
