Job summary

LHH in New Jersey is seeking a Project Director to lead workforce program operations, drive performance improvements, and ensure successful contract execution. You will oversee program strategy, staff leadership, compliance, and stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable employment and service outcomes.

This role focuses on building partnerships with employers and funders, setting KPIs, managing budgets, and guiding teams to high performance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience in workforce development or related field.
• Experience leading operational improvements or turnaround initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of compliance, contract management, and KPI-based operations.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational improvements and performance enhancement initiatives.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and accountability measures.
• Manage staff development, coaching, and performance expectations.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, reporting standards, and quality controls.
• Build employer partnerships to support job placement and retention goals.
• Partner with leadership, funders, and stakeholders to communicate results and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee budgets, resources, and program performance.
