Job summary

Firstsource is seeking a Site Lead to oversee on-site operations for a multimodal data collection research project across East Bay locations. You will manage sessions, coordinate with instructors and staff, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

The role requires proactive problem solving, strong communication, and reliable independent work across multiple sites with travel between locations in the Bay Area.

Firstsource is hiring a Site Lead to lead site operations for an advanced multimodal data collection research project with a global technology company. You'll coordinate onsite data collection activities across multiple East Bay locations, manage schedules and logistics, serve as the primary point of contact for participants and team members, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where you'll identify and resolve operational challenges in real time.

• Identify and resolve operational challenges in real time without waiting for step-by-step direction
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (instructors, facility partners, equipment specialists) to support project delivery

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, event coordination, field operations, research operations, or administrative program support
• Highly organized professional who manages multiple priorities simultaneously in fast-paced environments
• Strong attention to detail; proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working directly with participants, staff, and remote teams
• Reliable, self‑directed operator who works independently and anticipates what’s needed next
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation for regular travel between Bay Area locations
• Detail-oriented documentation and record‑keeping; comfort with basic tracking systems and reporting

Preferred Experience

• Research operations, participant‑based projects, or field operations background
• Event coordination or production operations
• Experience managing multiple locations or venues simultaneously
• Working with facilities, external partners, or outdoor locations
• Supporting pilots or projects with potential to scale

Duration

Initial commitment approximately 1 month, with strong potential to extend to 3-4 months based on project needs and performance
