Firstsource Solutions is hiring detail-oriented Research Assistants to support a large-scale, innovative AI research project in New York City. You'll work onsite in a fast-paced, team-based environment facilitating structured research sessions with high daily participant volume.

This is real, hands-on work: you'll guide participants through protocols, ensure data quality, troubleshoot issues in real-time, and directly contribute to a cutting-edge research initiative. It's perfect for students, recent graduates, or professionals looking to gain meaningful research experience through defined, structured project work.

Ideal for

Psychology/Neuroscience students, recent grads in behavioral sciences, health sciences professionals, or anyone with research lab or event operations experience.

• Type: Onsite Freelance (1099) Contract
• Location: New York City Metropolitan Area (onsite)
• Duration: Multiple defined phases: Sept 24 – early November

Project Schedule

Mandatory Paid Training

• Thursday, September 24 - Remote Onboarding
• Friday, September 25, 1:00–4:00 PM ET
• Monday, September 28, 1:00–4:00 PM ET
• All training hours paid at your contracted rate

Data Collection Phases

Sessions run Tuesday through Thursday, with exception noted below:

• September 29 – October 1
• October 6–8
• October 13–15
• October 20–22
• October 27–29
• November 3–4 (Final week: Tuesday and Wednesday -2 days)

Daily Operations

• Staff Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (full-day onsite shifts)
• 60 participants/day — fast-paced, structured flow
