Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support our North Carolina Earth & Environment teams.

You will provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting through the full project lifecycle, including setup, monthly reviews, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting. Acting as a liaison among Project Managers, Project Financial Analysts, and leadership, you will ensure timely communication, issue resolution, financial visibility, and alignment on project

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, or project support.
• Experience coordinating with project teams to support setup, reviews, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ability to prepare clear performance summaries and variance explanations.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting to Project Managers through the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with PFA, PFO, and leadership to ensure timely communication and financial visibility.
• Prepare budget status updates, forecast summaries, and escalation items for leadership.
• Assist with project closeout documentation and lessons learned.
