Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Controls Consultant to support North Carolina teams in the Earth & Environment sector. You will assist with project setup, monthly reviews, Horizon activities, and budget controls, ensuring accurate forecasting and strong financial visibility for project managers and leadership.

The role emphasizes liaison work across PM, PFA, PFO, and senior management, with a focus on accurate data, risk identification, and timely issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in project controls, project finance, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, or project management support.
• Experience coordinating with project managers, finance, accounting, or project financial operations teams.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive project controls, coordination, and reporting support to Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as liaison between Project Managers, PFA, PFO, and leadership to ensure timely communication and financial visibility.
• Coordinate Horizon updates, budget controls, forecast updates, and project performance reporting.
• Assist with project closeout, archiving, and lessons learned collection.
