Project Controls / Closeout Coordinator (Telecom)

Selectek is seeking a Project Controls/Closeout Coordinator to join our client’s Telecom Project Controls team. This role is vital for the successful execution of team initiatives across the United States. The ideal candidate will oversee financial project activities, including management, processing, and review, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, handling data processing, and managing closeout deliverables. This position is key to maintaining project integrity and financial accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Experience in construction project controls, preferably in the telecom industry
• Previous experience working on AT&T projects
• Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Locations:

• Minnesota
• North Texas
• NY or NJ

Note: You do not need to be located in these markets but must be available to support projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to develop and manage project plans, reports, and schedules
• Perform data entry, reviews, and process project forms and deliverables
• Maintain project trackers and third-party tracking databases
• Assist in data collection, validation, and updates in internal and third-party systems
• Manage project invoicing processes
• Serve as a liaison between National Project Accountants and Procurement
• Participate in internal calls and provide administrative support
• Act as the primary contact for project status communication
• Analyze data and create action items based on project status
• Prepare and deliver project reports
• Collaborate with Accounting, Purchasing, and Accounts Payable teams to improve processes
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Pay Rate: $31.25/hour

Term: 6-month contract to hire

Pay Method: Hourly

Location: Remote (support projects in EST hours)

Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM – 5PM EST

Work From Home: Yes
