Project Controls / Closeout Coordinator (Telecom) - 100% Remote

Telecom Project Coordinator (Closeout & Financials) – 100% Remote

Job Title: Project Controls / Closeout Coordinator

Location: Remote (support CST or EST time zones required)

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (~6 months)

Pay Rate: $31.25/hour (W2, benefits included)

Overview:

We are seeking three highly organized and detail-oriented Project Controls / Closeout Coordinators to support telecom infrastructure projects. These fully remote roles require availability during Central or Eastern time zones. Ideal candidates will have experience managing project documentation, closeout deliverables, financial tracking, and vendor coordination within the wireless telecom industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and manage project financials, including purchase orders, invoicing, and change orders
• Maintain documentation and coordinate the timely submission of closeout packages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor project milestones and ensure data accuracy
• Update internal trackers and third-party systems regularly
• Assist in preparing reports and communicating project status to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and client requirements
• Support process improvements and provide administrative coordination as needed

Qualifications:

• Experience in project coordination, closeout documentation, or project controls, preferably in telecom
• Familiarity with AT&T projects or systems is highly preferred
• Intermediate Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Additional Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexible start times as early as 6:30 AM CST/EST
• Markets Supported: Minnesota, North Texas, New York/NJ (residency is flexible; support must be for one of these markets)
• Travel: None
• Overtime: Not expected; OT rate at 1.5x if applicable
• Background Check: Required (covering 10 years, including DMV and employment verification)
• Drug Screen: 10-panel required (no exceptions for THC/medical marijuana)
• Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
• Sponsorship: Not available
