Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controls Professional to provide financial analysis, cost forecasts, and performance data for a major project in Hawaii. You’ll work with the project team, support invoicing and accounts receivable, and help optimize controls processes.

Strong Excel, Oracle/BI tools, and budgeting skills are essential. The role primarily sits in an office setting with some field work, reporting to the Project Controls Manager and Operations Leader.

Qualifications

• Two-year business, construction management, or related degree preferred with minimum of 1-year appropriate course work in project management, accounting, finance, or business preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience performing financial analysis, cost management, scheduling, and other project controls/project management functions over the life of a project.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial analysis, commitment and expenditure information, performance data, and cost forecasts to Project Management.
• Develop and optimize Project Controls processes and systems.
• Prepare monthly status reports related to cost, schedule, progress, budget, forecast, and manpower.
• Coordinate document control requirements (specifications, RFIs, submittals, revision control).
• Collaborate with Project Manager for compliance with Stantec ISO standards for Project Management, including audits.
• Support Business Center revenue forecasts and budgeting.
