Stantec is seeking a Project Controller/Project Controls Analyst to oversee budget, forecasting, and cost control across projects. You will coordinate with Project Managers and accounting staff, ensuring timely invoices and accurate financial reporting.

The role involves analytics, month-end closes, and continuous improvement of project profitability. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in project controls, strong Excel skills, and experience with PMIS tools.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical college or BS degree, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years in project/program controls, project management, or project accounting/financial role.
• Experience in a consulting or project management environment preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide budget, contract, and financial management support to Project Managers.
• Assist Project Managers with life cycle maintenance of projects per client requirements.
• Coordinate with project accounting staff to ensure timely invoicing per contracts.
• Audit project reports for financial impact and gross profit optimization.
• Assist with monthly forecasts and financial estimates.
• Support structures (WBS/Cost Breakdown) for budgeting and setup.
• Perform and manage all budget and cost control functions.
• Prepare month-end, variance, and ad hoc reports as required.
• Conduct analytics and interpret project data for continuous improvement.
• Complete financial reconciliations as required.
• May train, manage, or mentor others over time.
• Administer PMIS for budget/cost control, document control, and reporting.
