Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Controller or Project Controls Analyst to manage project finances, budgets, forecasts, and cost control across multiple regions. The role serves as a primary liaison with project managers and accounting teams.

You will analyze data, produce month-end and ad hoc reports, support WBS/Cost Breakdown Structures, and help optimize gross profit while mentoring others as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and earned value management.
• Understanding of contract terms and project accounting methods.
• Ability to coordinate with internal and external processes and manage documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide budget, contract, and financial management support to Project Managers.
• Assist in maintaining project life cycles per client requirements and guidelines.
• Coordinate with project accounting for invoices per timelines and contracts.
• Audit project reports for financial impact and gross profit optimization.
• Assist with monthly forecasts and financial estimates.
• Support WBS and Cost Breakdown Structures for budgeting and setup.
• Perform and manage budgeting and cost control functions.
• Prepare month-end, variance, and ad hoc reports.
