Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) seeks a Senior Project Scheduler to support development, tracking, and analysis of program schedules across contracts of varying size and complexity in Poway, California.

You will work with program management, finance, and technical staff to baseline, status, and control work, develop WBS dictionaries, and apply Earned Value and schedule risk methodologies to provide timely insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related discipline with six+ years of experience.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, planning and tracking in a research or production environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to write and explain issues.
• Experience with project management software and office productivity tools; willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) using CPM.
• Identify and resolve critical path issues and create work-around plans.
• Prepare and coordinate master program schedules for contracts.
• Coordinate resource assignments, baseline plans, and ETC updates.
• Provide timely, accurate status and recommendations to leaders.
• Perform Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and Monte Carlo analyses.
• Analyze IMS with budgets and forecasts using Earned Value Management.
• Ensure IMS structure aligns with cost tools and WBS.
