General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Contracts Planning Analyst to plan, track, and report on contracts of varying size and complexity under general supervision. Works with project teams to ensure cost baselines and deliverables are met.

This role supports Work Breakdown Structures, Earned Value reporting, and proposal development, collaborating with management, finance, and technical staff to ensure accurate cost tracking and compliant performance.

Qualificações

• Typically requires education or formal training equivalent to the completion of a bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, along with three or more years of related experience.
• Must have general knowledge of accounting principles, planning and tracking procedures and manufacturing systems in a research or production environment.
• Possess good organizational skills and be an effective communicator with the ability to write, interpret and explain programmatic issues.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and project management software.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares schedules and budgets, and performs monitoring, analysis and reporting on assigned contracts.
• Monitors and assures budget availability, proper approval authorization and charge accounts; tracks procurements for cost reporting.
• Develops and maintains master program schedules for assigned contracts.
• Interfaces with Purchasing, Finance, QA to collect data for schedules and reports.
• Provides timely information to task leaders and program managers and makes recommendations for decisions.
• Assists in development of reporting procedures to evaluate program status and tracking of deliverables.
• May contribute to cost/schedule, variance and earned value reports/analysis.
• Observes laws, regulations and obligations on behalf of the Company.
• Maintains a productive and safe working environment per operating procedures.
