Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) in Poway, CA seeks an experienced Program Manager to oversee one or more programs from initiation to delivery, coordinating technical performance, cost, schedule, and risk across matrixed teams.

You will interact with internal teams, customers and vendors, develop proposals and budgets, influence contract terms, and ensure secure handling of sensitive information while supporting growth opportunities for GA-ASI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master, or PhD in engineering, science, or related field with 11+ years of program management experience.
• Strong leadership, planning, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to coordinate technologies across programs and manage multiple customers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; DoD Secret clearance ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the program from conceptualization through completion, including acquisition planning and performance.
• Develop and coordinate program plans for multiple customers and delivery methods.
• Lead engineering interactions to define concepts, criteria, and requirements for development and testing.
• Interact with customers and vendors; act as primary contact for program issues and proposals.
