SWCA Environmental Consultants is seeking a Project Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team. Focus on energy project site civil design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.

The role emphasizes leading projects, collaboration with CAD, GIS, and regulatory teams, and delivering high-quality design packages. The position offers hybrid or distributed remote work arrangements and is open to candidates in multiple SWCA locations across the US,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering.
• 4+ years of civil site design, erosion control, stormwater, and hydrologic modeling.
• Professional Engineer license in PA, OH, IL, FL, or TX or reciprocity ready.

Responsabilités

• Lead project tasks, manage schedules and budgets.
• Prepare design reports and plans for design deliverables.
• Design stormwater systems and erosion controls.
• Analyze utility crossings and minimize environmental impacts.
• Prepare construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Oversee permitting for SWPPPs and erosion controls.
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
