Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Project Civil Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. The role focuses on energy project site civil design, erosion and sediment control plans, stormwater management design, and hydrologic and hydraulic modeling across the U.S.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong project leadership, and ability to coordinate with CAD designers, GIS analysts, environmental scientists, regulators, and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience in civil engineering, specifically site civil design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
• Professional Engineer License in PA, OH, IL, FL, or TX, or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering tasks, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Design stormwater management and erosion control measures.
• Perform utility crossing analyses and optimize crossing solutions.
• Prepare construction drawings, specs, and contract documents.
• Oversee permitting and regulatory documentation for SWPPPs and erosion control.
