Job summary

SWCA Environmental Consultants seeks a Project Civil Engineer to join our engineering team, focusing on energy project site civil design, erosion and sediment control, stormwater management, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. The role involves leading projects, mentoring staff, and engaging in business development across multiple offices in the US.

The position offers hybrid or distributed remote work, with opportunities for growth and collaboration across disciplines, including CAD designers,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field and PE license required.
Four years of relevant civil engineering experience; six years preferred.
Experience leading projects and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Leads management activities by overseeing tasks, schedules, budgets, and deliverables for projects.
Designs stormwater management systems and erosion control measures for assigned projects.
Conducts analyses for utility crossings to minimize environmental impacts and meet project requirements.
Prepares construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents per standards.
Oversees permitting by preparing and submitting regulatory docs for stormwater plans and erosion control measures.
