Job summary

Progressive Companies is seeking a Project Architect I to lead conventional architecture on small to moderate projects, developing models, drawings, and specifications. You will coordinate with engineers and consultants, mentor junior staff, and drive design decisions with ownership and accountability.

Candidates should manage design analyses, occupancy studies, and ensure alignment across drawings and specs while supporting licensure pathways.

Qualifications

• Ability to run conventional architecture on small to moderate projects.
• Own design and planning analysis, occupancy studies, and design layouts.
• Coordinate technical design across disciplines with engineers and outside consultants.
• Mentor junior staff and support licensure pathways.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural models, contract documents, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate design across disciplines and manage document publishing.
• Review reports, submittals, drawings, estimates for technical accuracy.
• Oversee on-site field issues and ensure code compliance.
