Job summary

Progressive Companies is seeking an Architectural Staff III to lead the technical voice on complex projects from conceptual design through documentation. You will guide how drawings are produced, ensure design intent survives into detailed documents, and act as a SME for specialized building systems.

You will mentor junior staff, review work for quality, and collaborate with project managers and the director on technical solutions and strategy.

Qualifications

Lead technical direction on projects of moderate to large complexity.
Strong coordination of discipline with project team and stakeholders.
Ability to mentor junior staff and develop team capability.

Responsibilities

Set the technical direction on assigned projects and ensure design intent is carried through documentation.
Produce and modify construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and BSD SpecLink.
Develop project specifications aligned with drawings and standards.
Resolve code and technical issues with AHJ and authorities having jurisdiction.
Own QA/QC for the Architecture discipline and review work for accuracy and code compliance.
Resolve field issues and communicate changes to project team during construction.
Lead product research and vendor meetings and ensure materials meet design intent.
Mentor architectural staff and lead Lessons Learned sessions.
