Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Analyst 4 to join our team in multiple US locations, including Newark, DE. The role focuses on project accounting, billing, AR, and coordination with PMs and clients to support project success.

The candidate should have a degree in business, finance, or accounting and 3-5 years of related experience, with ISO and GAAP knowledge and strong communication skills. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in business, finance, or accounting; 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
• AEC industry experience (architecture, engineering, or construction) preferred.
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills are critical.
• Understanding of GAAP/FAR rules and project accounting and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

• Project accounting including Dynamics project setup, monthly billing and AR processes, contract and billing file setup and archiving, and support for financial monitoring and vendor invoice processing.
• Comply with ISO requirements.
• Assist with client monthly reporting.
• Interface with project managers, analysts, clients, and vendors.
• Provide support to the Operations Manager, Regional Practice Leader, and Project Managers.
• Handle other projects as assigned.

Duties, Responsibilities & Other

• Project accounting to include: Microsoft Dynamics project setup, monthly billing and AR processes, contract and billing file setup and archiving, assist with financial monitoring and vendor invoice processing.
• Comply with ISO requirements.
• Assist with client monthly reporting.
• Interface with project managers, analysts, clients, and vendors.
• Provide support to the Operations Manager, Regional Practice Leader, and Project Managers.
• Other projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting required or Associate Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting plus 3-5 years of related
• AEC Industry firm experience is preferred, (Architecture, Engineering or Construction)
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills are critical.
• Basic understanding of accounting and finance.
• Ability to contribute within team that includes a variety of services, clients, and personalities.
• Experience with development and use of spreadsheets in order to prepare invoices and project tracking.
• Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
• Must understand financial concepts.
• Understand and adhere to GAAP/FAR rules and regulations as related to KCI billing.
